So Much To Blog So Little Time......

I finally took this mess of a spice cupboard and made it look like this.......
All the while thinking I should be tackling this pile..........or
Addressing the fact that the child and dog stand on the back of the couch.......
Been driving this cutie to a billion dance classes and dress rehearsals just so she's ready to wear........
this ballet outfit for Alice In Wonderland this weekend.
Went to get a bottle of nail polish and got side tracked organizing under my bathroom sink.......
Our sweet Ryanne got braces last week......
Made these three dimensional flowers and glued them to Thank You gift bags for dance teachers, our ES and Art teachers.
Took these bad boys.......
Along with these sweet treats......
Added some popcorn, sweet tarts and polka dot straws and VIOLA! Thank you gifts for worship leaders etc. who helped make our Married Life retreat so A-W-E-S-O-M-E last weekend!
This great lady who also happens to be a sister in Christ (Tina) made these beautiful cupcakes for our retreat. I bought clear boxes,  brown ribbon and then made a WHOLE BUNCH of 3D flowers and put it all together.
So when the couples checked into their rooms they were greeted with tasty treats & fresh roses (Thanks John & Tammy)
I heart being married!
Couples that faithfully show up to help in the madness in which we like to call Married Life! Pastor Bob Botsford and his wife came and spoke for the conference. It was so GOOD! So stinkin' GOOD!
After Ryanne got braces she said and I quote,"Mom I need a whole new look. Can I cut all my hair off?" So I took her and she cut 7" off. It's so her. Spunky and care free. Love it! Ryanne knew her daddy would be sad that she wanted to cut her hair so she said,"Mamma, daddy is NOT going to let me cut my hair so can you ask him for me and work you magic? I mean it's not like I'm asking to pierce my nose or anything." LOL! A. Pierce her nose? Is that coming? AND B. How does she know about my magic? *Sigh*
We are officially out of school and enjoying our warm weather. Popsicles & friends, lazy mornings, day trips, vacations, sandy toes, daddy's races, Ryanne and Dan's birthday. No classes, no books, no more teacher's dirty looks! I LOVE SUMMER!

Birthday Surprises And Mother's Day Fun.....

So your sitting at home wondering to yourself, "Self how would one throw a surprise birthday party in a hotel room?"  Well, let me tell you. First you send the unsuspecting birthday girl clues in the mail the week before. You tell them what to pack and where to meet you. Then you load one sneaky mama......
Her two sneaky (but cute) kiddos along with lots of balloons, flowers, and yummy snacks into the car.........
You drive to the hotel in Palm Springs and decorate the hotel room door........
The stairs leading to the upstairs bedroom.......
And viola! You surprise Grandma with a two night stay with her girls.
If you feel so inclined you can also make the birthday even more fun by driving over to the River Walk and eating dinner outside at PF Chang's.
You must remember to make faces when posing for pictures though because it obviously makes the food taste better. :)
And lastly if your brave enough to wear a bathing suit in May, it's important to swim day and night until your eyes are so red you can't see and you reek of chlorine. It's kinda essential to throwing a good birthday party!
My mom came into town for Mother's day as did my brother. Dan was working so we all took the kids to lunch and then drug my brother to JoAnne's craft store afterwards. The beauty was he agreed to go with us without knowing what the store was. Ha! That will teach him to shop with 4 girls!
Either my mom likes the watch we bought her for Mother's Day or she is channeling her super woman powers!
Love! Love! Love these crazy kids that keep telling me they belong to me! LOL! We had a nice day and the weather was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! It's good to be me!
My brother brought me flowers and Ryanne made me this sweet Mom sign at church. I love it! If your reading this and your a mama; HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! Be blessed and pray lots for your little ones. If your reading this and you are not a mama yet but trying; I know how that feels and I have been there but rest assured God has a plan. A plan to give you your hearts desire and be a mom. Praying for those who are struggling with infertility or loss during this time.
