Dance Moms, Easiest Cookie Recipe E-V-E-R and G.I. Joe Water Instructors.....

OK so is it just me or is she just beautiful! I mean inside and out. So here is our little dancer on her way to her first big recital. And by big I mean hours and hours of rehearsal and shows. Like 20 hours of being at the auditorium last week/weekend. It's OK though cause we survived and had a blast watching all the kids. Morgan does Jazz and Ballet.
In fact Morgan loved dance so much last year she is working on her daddy so she can take tap and pre-pointe next year as well.......he's still trying to get past how grown and pretty she looked with the make-up on.
Family and friends came out to watch and cheer her on. Sorry Mike and Sarah, your photo got lost somewhere. Sad face.
One thing I will say about the "dance mom" world (and you know who you are people) is this; stop acting like crazy dance moms. Stop cutting in line, taking seats that aren't yours, texting during the show even after they have asked us a Ga-zillion times to stop. And stop barking orders at other moms who are just as tired and stressed as you are. Our kids are watching us, our every move and so it's simple, do the right thing. The honorable thing, the respectful thing and just chill out. It's about the kids. OK off my soap box. Thank you, the end.
So now that summer is here and school is out. No more classes, art, dance, P.E.. No more early mornings or school paper work. No more meetings or running up and down the hill from one rehearsal to the other. I plan to eat my way through the summer with fun and easy to make recipes. This cookie recipe will change your life. OK maybe not change it but it sure will make it better. You have all these things in your cupboard now and they are FAST to make. Good for last minute company or friends with Gluten allergies.
Throw 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup smooth peanut butter, 1 egg, and 1/2 cup chocolate chips in a bowl and mix. I like to add 1 tbsp. of honey and 1 tbsp. of vanilla to give it a little flavor boost. Then drop cookies in mounds on sheets and bake at 350 degrees for about 13 minutes. DELICOUS!
So YUMMY too!

OK last rant. Went to the gym today and got in the pool. In walks a substitute teacher and what was my first thought? "Oh man, someone new. Boring. Yawn, stretch. Guess we are going to have to show her the ropes. Greeeeaaaaaaat."

Uh-huh ya' I can't hardly lift my arms above my head and I'm ready for bed. My thought half way through class? "Who freakin' invited G.I Jane to teach water classes? I'm seriously thinking of reporting her. I mean who does she think she is coming in here all smiles and chatty through class as were running laps, the nerve of some people. I mean I might forgive her if my abs are tighter and my arms don't wave back at the neighbor tomorrow but unless that happens we are so NOT friends. Ha!"
