Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Psalm 127:1

We loaded the kids up in the motor home and headed up to central California so Dan and his friend could compete in the Wild Flower half Iron Man. It was their first and they finished and did great. We spent four days with the girls in pouring rain, hot sun and at the beach. Good times! After all the sore muscles have healed and the bikes are fixed back up I have a feeling we are heading to Utah for the Iron Man next year. I'll keep you posted. Good job Dan and Joey, we are all proud of you and loved tagging along to cheer you on.

Here is a quick video of our four days. I am still figuring it all out so forgive the random order of it all. ;)

That looked like so much fun! I loved the Girls T-Shirts. Cute! Plus when they were running with their dad that was the best. Good family times that they will remember for sure. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Go Dan!!!
That is so awesome.
So how long does it actually take them to finish something like that?

and LOVE Morgan running with him.
Watch out Dan she may want to do the whole race with you one day, only she'll have endless youthful energy - hehe.

Rhonda, It takes about 7-8 hours and yes Morgan has already asked for a bike to compete in the Kids version of the race. YIKES!! :)

That is amazing. Dan is "da man"!!!

It melted my heart to see Morgan grab his hand and run with him. And those "Team Daddy" shirts, oh my goodness, precious!
