A Couple Random Things.............................

I had to share this cause to me it's VERY exciting. I have ALWAYS wanted a piano. I mean ALWAYS. I have wanted to learn to play worship music on the piano for a couple of years now. Whenever I would hear someone was selling a piano I was always so bummed at the horrible timing of us not having the money or the space or whatever. So last week we were in Long Beach with Dan's family for our annual "Christmas with the Cousins party" and Cindi (Dan's cousin) asks if anyone wanted the piano that had been in the family forever. I think I practically levitated across the pool deck to make sure she knew I was serious. :) Dan's uncle bought it 29+ years ago and had it all refurbished. Its old and used and loved and worn just the way I like. So on New Years Eve Dan's cousin had the piano movers move it up from her house in LA and here it is in its new home ready for Morgan to take lessons in Feb. I can hardly wait cause ummm yes I totally plan to learn along side her. What? I have been itching to learn something new so this is perfect timing. Heck, when she was taking guitar I almost killed myself trying to learn those cords cause I couldn't stand not understanding what someone else was learning.
Oh and one other little thing; if you sent us a Christmas card with your photo attached to it you are HERE! :) This is our bulletin board we hung up in a place where I spend lots of time (sad to say) the laundry room. Anyways, we hung this bulletin board here not to hide your beautiful faces but to remind me as I wash clothes to pray for you and your families. We clean it off every December and add all the new cards from family and friends. Its fun to see everyone change and the kids grow so big. Love praying for you all! I have been missing those that are far away that we don't see often. :( Love you!

How fun, I've always wanted to learn piano too! I'm totally with you on needing to learn new things... being out of the workplace especially makes me like that :) Have fun with it!

Yay for a piano!
And by the way, you WILL get a card from us yet. We decided to send it as a New Year's card because there was no way I was getting it out before Christmas. I should finish printing them tonight. Yay! Hopefully you'll get it next week.

Thanks for your prayers for us, I love that idea. You have so many good ones worth stealing, and I am grateful that you post some of them for all of us to see!

I love the piano, that is the exact kind I would get if I got one, the uprights are so beautiful to me. We started with a keyboard to see how they do. I should be learning too, I kept up with the first few lessons, then got lost. Connor is really enjoying it so far!

Good luck and keep us posted!

First of all, I love that I made it on your wall ;)~.

And second, isn't it so cool when "GOD" gives us the desires of hearts (not just when we go out and buy it). I had that experience about a month ago. I really liked these fresh berries i saw at the store, but they were like $20 for one stem. No way i'd spend that. So...the very next day my friend came to me with a huge bucket of berries she just happen to cut down at the golf course near her house. An abundance of berries. I knew without a doubt it was God pursing me, telling me he loves me. Those moments are priceless and cause me to trust Him even more. ENJOY YOUR GIFT!

I'm totally jealous!!! I almost dies when my mother in law practically gave her piano away she had since James was born. Her answer to me was "well I didn't even think to ask if you guys would want it." Uhhh!!!! Enjoy it girl!!!

Lucky you! The piano looks GORGEOUS, and what a great blessing the way it came to you! God is so good! (Patience is a virtue!!!) And great idea about the picture-prayer board, I think I'll steal that one!

Thank you for leaving that post on my blog. It's always nice to hear encouragement from other believers. Feel free to leave comments whenever you want. Not a lot of people leave comments on my blog so it was nice to see.

Also, I love the picture Christmas cards that you put up to pray for people. I've heard quite a few people that do that and I think that's a wondeful way to pray for people.

And I feel the exact same way about getting a piano. We never have the space and/or money when we hear about an available piano but I would LOVE to have one.
